Prerequisites

An open mind and ability to see the world outside of the US and Texas.

There are two required text for this course. 




The  text   is The Human Mosaic: A Thematic Introduction to Cultural Geography by Terry G Jordan-Bychkov and Mona Domosh.  ISBM 0-7167-3801-5 published by W. H. Freeman and Company. It is available from
University Co-Op or Amazon.com as well as the publisher web site above.  Their text companion web site is: http://www.whfreeman.com/jordan/
 



The atlas for this course is: Goode's World Atlas (Goode's World Atlas, 20th) published by Rand McNally and Company.  ISBN: 0528843362. It is available at the University Co-Op and Amazon.com.  You may opt to use only the atlas that came with the text, although it does not have some useful information.  For example, country statistics are not available and must be gleaned from other sources.
