- SMART Interactive Software For Community-Based
Organizations Antonio Furino, Ph.D., Director, Center for Health Economics, The University

This workshop demonstrates new software to assist community-based organizations (CBOs)
with strategic plans, project goals, and indicators for planning and reporting. Attendees
will learn about current and potential future applications of SMART, and understand how
this technology can improve the success of CBOs.

The University of Texas at Arlington
Visitors to the southwests premier manufacturing, research, and technology transfer
center will see demonstrations on reconfigurable assembly systems, automated surface
finishing, liquid metal jetting, and an inverted pendulum.

at Texas Instruments
The Kilby Center is the world's most advanced research center for silicon manufacturing.
Visitors will view a model of the facility, a display of how transistors are made, and a
portion of the clean room.
