General Guidelines for the EnterTech Project Advisory Teams: 

  • Teams serve in an advisory capacity to the core project team (core team members are staff of IC2 Institute and Interactive Architex) to ensure project progress and the production of a quality product. Each team is generally responsible for assisting the core project team in meeting deadlines set forth for each milestone. (Please reference the "Milestones of EnterTech Project" flow chart.) Connectivity and facilitation of the teams and the project is the responsibility of the core team.
  • The purpose of each team and specific milestones for which the team is responsible are delineated on the respective team’s description document.
  • One team member serves as team leader with support from the core team. 
  • Where possible, potential learners should be added to the team. 
  • Teams may communicate through list EnterTech, the web site, at the quarterly meeting of the Partners and Stakeholders, or in any other manner they choose.

Team Descriptions: 


Curriculum Design Team 

Purpose:  

  • To work with the Resources, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Research Team to assist in the determinations of the gaps in existing curricula; in the design of the competencies, performance objectives and assessment strategies and; in the completion of the instructional design (including the Learner Advisory Team on instructional design)
  • To assist in the development, production, and testing of the curriculum for the EnterTech Project training program including assessment strategies
  • To work with the Learner Advisory and Recruitment, Referral, and Support Teams to assist in the development of an evaluation system for learners, employers and the program
  • To work with the Delivery and Implementation Team to assist in the completion of materials and systems for beta testing
  • To work with the Recruitment, Referral and Support and the Delivery and Implementation Teams to assist in the operation of the beta sites
  • To work with the Delivery and Implementation Team to assist in the analysis and incorporation of learner/educator/employer & stakeholder feedback from beta sites into the EnterTech Project training program

Resources, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Research Team 

Purpose: 

  • To assist in the identification of best-practice curricula to be reviewed for EnterTech training program
  • To assist in identification and securing of media assets available from partners/stakeholders 
  • To assist with the coordination of the activities surrounding the research and analysis in determination of the required knowledge, skills and abilities for entry-level positions in technology and the related supply and service industries
  • To work with the Curriculum Design Team to assist in the determinations of the gaps in existing curricula; in the design of the competencies, performance objectives and assessment strategies and; in the completion of the instructional design (including the Learner Advisory Team on instructional design)

Recruitment, Referral, and Support Team  

Purpose: 

  • To advise on the creation of model for: 
    • recruitment and pre-assessment for the EnterTech Project training program;
    • support services for learners in the EnterTech Project training program; and,
    • referrals to employers for employment or to educational institutions for continuing education.
  • To work with the Learner Advisory Team to assist in the determination of the targeted learner characteristics; to assist in the development of graduation documents; and to assist in ensuring a support and referral system is in place
  • To work with the Learner Advisory and Curriculum Design Teams to assist in the development of an evaluation system for learners, employers and the program
  • To work with the Delivery and Implementation Team to assist in ensuring that the learners are connected to other systems such as support, referral, and continuing education
  • To work with the Curriculum Design and the Delivery and Implementation Teams to assist in the operation of the beta sites

  • To work with the Curriculum Design Team to assist in the completion of materials and systems for beta testing
  • To work with the Curriculum and Design Team to assist in the operation of the beta sites
  • To work with the Curriculum Design Team to assist in the analysis and incorporation of learner/educator/employer & stakeholder feedback from beta sites into the EnterTech Project training program

Purpose:

  • To incorporate these competencies into the EnterTech training program

Learner Advisory Team  

Purpose:

  • To work with the Recruitment, Referral and Support Team to assist in the determination of the targeted learner characteristics; to assist in the development of graduation documents; and to assist in ensuring a support and referral system is in place
  • To work with the Curriculum Design and Recruitment, Referral, and Support Teams to assist in the development of an evaluation system for learners
