Section 1.2: Defining Disability, Part 1
What is a disability?
The Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990 (U.S. Dept. of Justice, 1999) specifies the following definition of disability:
Disability.--The term "disability" means, with respect to an individual-- [ 5

- being regarded as having such an impairment.
