Support Free Minds
“The Free Minds Project has been a life-changing experience. Not only have I made friends for life, I’ve gained clarity, direction, confidence, and motivation to really go after my heart’s desire.” — Grace Elizabeth, 2009 graduate
Your support of the Free Minds Project is a critical part of sustaining our efforts to support educational opportunities for Central Texas adults and their families. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, Free Minds is recruiting its fourth class of students.
How You Can Help
Volunteering and In-kind Donations
Free Minds occasionally needs volunteers to assist with events such as alumni master classes and graduation, as well as office work during the annual recruitment period. To be placed on our volunteer list, email freeminds@austin.utexas.edu. In-kind donations, such as meals for students and children during class, laptops for student use, and books and materials are also welcome.
Financial Donations
Your financial gifts directly support high-quality college humanities courses to highly motivated low-income adults aspiring to jumpstart their college education. Sponsor benefits include invitations to Free Minds events, e-newsletter updates, and sponsorship acknowledgment online and in printed materials.
When You Give, You Help Students:
- Build their libraries
- Earn college credit
- Eat healthy meals
- Purchase tickets to cultural events
- Provide their children with educational opportunities
Donations can be made online or mailed directly to the program. To send a donation, please make your check out to The University of Texas Foundation and mail to:
