Information for FacultyThanks for visiting our web site. As a faculty member, we at the GSC want you to know that the center is for you, as well as for students, staff and community members. We hope that you will recommend the Gender and Sexuality Center to students with whom you interact. Our main purpose is to provide space for members of the UT community to explore and organize around issues of gender and sexuality. At the same time, our center also serves as a safe space for women at the University, as well as those who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. We encourage you to visit the center, which is located on the ground floor of the Student Services Building, and we are open Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. At the center, you can check out books and DVDs from our library, talk to a staff member about issues of gender and sexuality, and just hang out, if you like. Note to LGBTQ and Ally faculty and staff: An LGBT faculty and staff organization is forming on campus! Please e-mail Lynne Milburn at l.milburn@mail.utexas.edu to get involved with the organization. Browse these web pages and e-mail us if you have any questions. Here are some highlights of our services just for you:
