Information for ParentsThanks for visiting our web site. As parents, we at the GSC want you to know that the center is for you, as well as for UT students, staff, and faculty. You are welcome here! Our main purpose is to provide space for members of the UT community to explore and organize around issues of gender and sexuality. At the same time, our center also serves as a safe space for women at the University, as well as those who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. We encourage you to visit the center, which is located on the ground floor of the Student Services Building, and we are open Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. At the center, you can check out books and DVDs from our library, talk to a staff member about issues of gender/sexuality, and just hang out, if you like.
