About the Summer Scholars Program

With a strong commitment towards issues of social justice and community building, the Summer Scholars Program promises to attract passionate students who envision themselves as future leaders of their communities.

The Summer Scholars Program begins on Saturday, July 11th (move-in day) and ends on Friday, August 14th. If you are accepted into the program, you must be able to attend for the entire duration of the program.

Who is eligible?

Summer Scholars Group Students selected to participate in Summer Scholars must:

  • Be admitted to UT
  • Possess strong motivation and a willingness to work hard, persevere, and excel
  • Indicate involvement in extracurricular activities
  • Demonstrate adversity in their educational experience and/or personal life

How do I apply?
