Adult Learning Disabilities Test Protocols

The following standard and supplemental measures are listed in an effort to provide guidance to clinicians conducting evaluations for students seeking accommodations at the University of Texas at Austin. Tests identified as standard are considered more comprehensive measures of assessment, which may, in their entirety, be appropriate as the sole measure of a specific domain (e.g., Aptitude). Supplemental/screening measures are those measures that are not appropriate if used as the sole index of functioning, but may be useful in providing supplemental or screening information. This list is not meant to be exhaustive; other measures may be appropriate within each domain and clinicians are welcome to call with questions. All reports must include a clinical interview (include reason for referral and history) and measures of aptitude, achievement, information processing, and psychological functioning (when applicable). Please refer to the Documentation Guidelines for Learning Disabilities for more specific information.
