Welcome Alumni and Friends!

Greetings VSLC Alumni and Friends. We are happy to announce that The University of Texas at Austin is placing an enhanced emphasis on community engagement programming. This decision presents an opportunity for an incredible expansion in VSLC programming and capabilities - quite a change from when we had to borrow scissors from SSB staff!

We need your help! Please fill out our Alumni and Friends Survey! This information will help us in our expansion, including a new student leadership certification program and better services in connecting the University to community needs. As someone who helped build the VSLC in its earlier
years, we need your feedback in shaping its future years.

Project 2011 – Alumni and Friends Reunion

We want to thank everyone who joined us for our annual Project event, Project 2011, which took place on February 26, 2011! VSLC Alumni and Friends participated in full workday clearing out flowerbeds at Lanier high school to provide a much-needed facelift for the school courtyard! We hope you will join us next year for Project 2012!  Please mark your calendars now and plan to join us on Saturday, February 25, 2012 for this very special event.

Find Volunteer Opportunities

Our volunteer database is not just for students--anyone can use it to find volunteer opportunities around Austin, the state, or the nation. Many alumni and community members also use the database to find a group volunteer project to work on together.
