Our volunteer database isn't just for students! Anyone can use it to find volunteer opportunities around Austin. Many departments and colleges also use the database to find a group volunteering project to work on together for the holidays or to help out a cause relevant to their mission. Volunteering as a group is a great staff development activity that also contributes to our community!

Faculty and Staff may also participate in our annual large-scale volunteering effort, The Project, and in many of the programs and events coordinated by the Student Volunteer Board.

The Service Learning program is a new way Faculty and Staff can become involved in volunteering. Service Learning courses incorporate volunteering into the curriculum to enhance student learning and give back to our community. We can help interested instructors with the logistics and resources needed to create and support Service Learning opportunities.
