Students

Students are so busy and it can be difficult to decide how to spend what little time is available. Volunteering is an excellent way to round out the education you receive while here at UT. Volunteering can also give you the opportunity to meet other service-minded students and develop your leadership skills. For more on this topic, see Why Volunteer?

For those students who are sure they want to volunteer but don't know how to begin, we offer several options:

• check our volunteer database for opportunities,
• get involved with any of the volunteer programs coordinated by the Student Volunteer Board,
• learn while you serve by taking a Service Learning course,
• join us for The Project, UT's biggest service event of the year!

Finally, for students who have some volunteering experience and would like to gain further leadership experience, you might want to
