UT Student Volunteer Board Applications Now Open!

The Volunteer and Service Learning Center (VSLC) is actively recruiting outstanding student volunteers for service leadership opportunities during the 2009-2010 academic year.  The UT Student Volunteer Board (or UT SVB)is an umbrella organization that houses thirteen projects: H2O, Longhorn Outreach, Longhorn Philanthropy Council, Project 2010, Project Reach Out, Senior Smiles, Texas AHA, Texas F.I.R.S.T., Texas SOS, UT HOPE, UT PLAYS, UT Reads, and Youth & Education. Currently, the UT SVB has 45 vacancies.  As a member of the UT SVB, you would become a board member of one of the projects listed above.  

Am I Eligible to Apply?
As long as you:
Have attended UT for at least one long semester
Will be available BOTH fall 2009 and spring 2010 semesters
Can attend weekly Thursday General Board meetings (5:00 – 6:00p.m.)
Have a love for volunteering!
You are eligible to apply!

Application Deadline
Monday, March 30th
Due by 5:00 p.m. in the Student Organization Center (4th Floor SSB)
