Five New Staff Members On Board at UIL
University Interscholastic League (UIL) is pleased to announce five new staff members have come on board since December.
Stephen Tidmore was hired as UIL webmaster in December, 2008. He is primarily responsible for the maintenance, design and technical support of the UIL web site. Stephen previously worked at Dell and Visions Service Adventures, and has also done freelance web design and photography.
Susan Doherty joined the UIL staff in February as the new Executive Assistant. Susan will serve as the executive assistant to UIL Executive Director Dr. Charles Breithaupt. She previously worked at the Texas Girls Coaches Association and Southwestern University before coming to the UIL.
Traci Neely and Sheila Henderson became the newest UIL assistant athletic directors, joining the staff in February. Both Traci and Sheila will be responsible for administering sport programs, answering student eligibility questions and issuing interpretations of the UIL Constitution & Contest Rules. Traci Neely comes to the UIL as a former Round Rock ISD assistant athletic director and coach at Round Rock McNeil High School. Sheila Henderson was formerly an assistant athletic director at Austin ISD and coach at Austin Bowie High School before joining the League.
Avi Ghosh is the newest UIL staff member, joining the UIL at the end of March. Avi will be responsible for travel, purchasing and the procurement card, as well as general Finance department responsibilities. He previously worked for the University of Mississippi and Discover Card.
