Lunch and Learn: How to Lease Office Equipment

A copier/Multifunction Device is a vital piece of equipment for your department. Identifying your specific needs is crucial to guiding your aquisition process to ensure that you find the right balance between the amount you spend, the features you get in a copier and the service and support that you get from a vendor.

Understanding the process for leasing a copier as well as having a base knowledge for the technology and services available to UT is paramount in finding that balance and making a decision that you won’t regret.

In this lunch and learn, we will discuss the key factors below to provide insight, and assist you with the process of leasing office equipment.

Digital File Submission: An InDesign Tutorial

LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE

A basic introduction to InDesign focusing on digital file preparation for printing. Requires no previous InDesign knowledge, Desktop Publishing experience recommended. You will learn the tools to create Brochures, Booklets, and Newsletters. No need to bring laptop with InDesign, Computer lab is outfitted with software. Refreshments will be provided.

Learn about operational changes at USPS, how those changes impact the mailing industry, and get a review of the current incoming and outgoing mail processes at UT. This session will also cover the future direction of Mail Services and discuss how we can provide for the UT community.

Suspicious Mail

Mail Center Security Class. We will be discussing how your staff and ours plays a role in keeping the campus safe. Join us and hear how UT Mail Services handles suspicious mail and find out what procedures you need in place to handle these items properly.
