Data-Driven Success

With more than 35,000 applicants to The University of Texas at Austin last year, it is critical we make data-informed decisions to ensure the enrollment of a high quality class that has the resolve to graduate in four years.

To do so, we are using more than a decade worth of comprehensive student data to help guide our enrollment efforts.

Using this historical student data, the university has developed advanced algorithms to help predict student success in four years, allowing us to identify roadblocks to on-time graduation and find solutions and incentives that encourage students to graduate in four years.

By using data to help guide future incoming classes, we're driving the next generation of Longhorns in a direction that helps them successfully navigate their unique path in four years.
