2015 EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY/AFFIRMATIVE ACTION REPORT
NOTE: Deans, department chairs, and center directors/administrators will receive email instructions regarding the EEO/AA Faculty Data Collection Report on January 11, 2016. The report will be due back to OIE on February 15, 2016.
TO: Deans, Directors, Departmental Chairpersons & Administrative Officials
Every year, the Office for Inclusion and Equity (OIE) completes the University's Annual Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Report as required by the U.S. Department of Labor. The report forms found under the tabs on the EEO/AA guide page will allow you to complete the data and send to OIE for our Federal Compliance mandates.
Faculty Availability Data (PDF) are also accessible for your perusal. The data reflect doctoral degrees awarded from 1996-2005 and were developed using the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) information on Ph.D.s awarded to U.S. Citizens & Permanent Residents, by race/ethnicity, gender, and area of concentration.
OIE is pleased to partner with departments and units to meet this critical and important mandate as federal contractors. OIE staff are also available to collaborate with department and search committee chairs to identify inclusive recruitment best practices tailored to the specific goals of your department(s). As part of OIE’s expanded mission, OIE has broadened the scope of its faculty recruitment and retention initiatives. For information about OIE’s recruitment and retention toolkits and other ways we can support your efforts, please visit the Faculty Recruitment and Retention section of our website.
