Honors Day

Saturday, April 12,2003

Honors Day cord and medallion Personalized certificates are sent to all students meeting the criteria as Distinguished or College Scholars. Included in the packet is an invitation for the student to participate in the ceremonies as well as additional invitations for the student to share with family, friends, and faculty members for the day of celebration. Student honorees who have not received their certificate package should contact Lisa Camero (lisa.camero@mail.utexas.edu) in the Office of Relationship Management and University Events.

Distinguished Scholars and College Scholars attending the central ceremonies at the Bass Concert Hall will receive honors cords. These cords are to be worn with regalia at Commencement.

Honors cords are generously provided to Distinguished Scholars and College Scholars by the University Co-op as part of their continuing support of academic excellence at The University of Texas at Austin. Honors cords are only guaranteed to those students who attend one of the two central ceremonies at the Bass Concert Hall on Saturday, April 12.

Distinguished Scholars attending the central ceremonies at the Bass Concert Hall will receive a medallion bearing the Honors Day Seal. Like the honors cords, the medallion will provide distinction when wearing regalia at Commencement.
