WELCOME

Honors Day at The University of Texas at Austin is an annual celebration of academic achievement. We acknowledge and salute extraordinary students who have distinguished themselves at the university through a combination of talent, hard work, and intellectual endeavor.

Many students invite to the celebration the faculty members who have inspired and mentored them. It is always an uplifting moment in the life of the university when our outstanding students are joined in procession by their favorite teachers at Honors Day.

I invite everyone to join me and the UT community in celebrating the success of these students on this special occasion. I am proud of them and offer my warmest congratulations.
