Reflective Thoughts

The Tower Garden is dedicated to the memory of all those who died and those whose lives were touched by the August 1, 1966 shooting from the Tower. It is our hope that this site will become a place for reflection and renewed serenity.

This tragedy touched our community in a profound way. In preparation for the dedication of the Tower Garden, people have expressed a need to share their personal stories of how they were affected by the tragedy.

In response to that need, The University of Texas at Austin extends this opportunity for you to share your thoughts via this web form. Items submitted will become a part of The University archives related to the Tower Garden dedication.
