(70) GEO 100 Dr. Sessler, who earned his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Stanford, has been a member of the UT faculty since 1984. Dr. Sessler is a prolific researcher, writer, and inventor. The subject of his talk will be the texaphyrin molecule, which he created. Distinguished Lecturers in the College of Natural Sciences: Dr. Timothy Rowe
(70) GEO 100 Dr. Rowe earned his Ph.D. in paleontology at UC Berkeley, and came to UT in September 1986. Dr. Rowe's current research focus is the evolution of the vertebrate brain, dentition, and nasal capsule, using x-ray computed tomography, which is a direct descendant of medical diagnostic machines.
