Dr. Denbow specializes in the later stone age and Iron Age periods. He established the Antiquities program for the Government of Botswana, running it from 1980 to 1986. He has carried out excavations at numerous sites in the Kalahari desert and Okavango Delta over the last 20 years. He has also conducted archaeological research in the Republic of Congo since 1987.
