Dr. Hall is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. He received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, and his Ph.D. from Princeton University. He was a post-doc at the Combustion Research Facility of Sandia National Laboratories and at the University of California, Berkeley. His research interests are related to combustion, with an emphasis on internal combustion engines. He specializes in laser diagnostics and infrared spectroscopy. Dr. Hall also leads a research program studying, hazardous waste incineration, examining methods to minimize emissions of airborne heavy metals.
