Tricia Berry is the director of the Women in Engineering Program at The University of Texas at Austin. In this role, Tricia is responsible for leading the efforts on recruitment and retention of women in the College of Engineering. Prior to this responsibility, Tricia was director of the Engineering Scholarship Program at the University. She came to the College in July 1999 after six years at The Dow Chemical Company in Freeport, Texas, where she worked as a process engineer and then as a product development engineer. In addition, she also was the University's Recruiting Team Co-op Lead Recruiter, an on-site Chemical Engineering Co-op Coordinator, the Take Our Daughters to Work Day Leader, and the Society of Women Engineers Convention Advisory Council Corporate Representative. Tricia received her bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University in May 1993 and her MBA from the University of Houston ? Clear Lake in May 1999. She has been active in the Gulf Coast Section of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the UT ChE Alumni Club, the Texas Society of Professional Engineers and the Society of Women Engineers.
