What is Quality Assurance & Process Improvement?
Quality Assurance & Process Improvement (QAPI) is a new program to Facilities Services. It is a tool first applied in manufacturing and service industries, and now within universities, to improve processes, cut costs, and stimulate innovation. It will support Facilities Services' mission by incorporating a review of current processes and procedures and implementing improvements as needed that increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Who is QAPI?
QAPI includes everyone within Facilities Services. QAPI will be tapping the experience, knowledge, and skill of our workforce. You will be playing an important role as we collaborate with you to learn and understand your processes and identify areas for improvement.

To create a culture within Facilities Services that embraces quality and process improvement as opportunities for growth, achievement, collaboration, innovation, and ownership.

2011-2013 QAPI Status Report
