QAPI is offering a series of courses that will provide hands-on instruction for managers, supervisors, administrative staff, and support staff in the use of process improvement tools.

PP2744 QAPI Process Mapping Your Workflow: Flowcharting
This class is an introduction to process mapping/flowcharting using VISIO. Participants will come away with:
- An understanding of process mapping
- An understanding of the why and how of a flowchart
- A process map/flowchart of their work area
- An introduction to VISIO

PP2752 QAPI Flowchart Workshop
This workshop is for those individuals who have attended PP2736 or PP2744 (both described above) and need additional instruction to complete their flowchart or just need the structured format of a classroom environment to complete their flowchart.
PP2745 QAPI Documenting Your Process: Standard Operating Procedures
This class provides an overview of the benefit and value in developing and creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Standard Operating Instructions (SOI), and Desk Instructions (DI), as well as the differences among the three. The class will allow time for hands-on instruction and creation of an SOI/DI.

PP2753 QAPI SOP Workshop
This workshop provides a hands-on opportunity to work on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Operating Instructions (SOIs), or Desk Instructions (DIs). Attendees will be able to aske questions and seek additional instruction and support. This class is for those individuals who have previously attended an SOP training class and need additional instruction to complete their SOP, SOI, or DI, or just need the structured format of a classroom environment to complete their documents.
Juran Quality Improvement Training Class
This course highlights the components of effective process improvement and is divided into three sections: the steps of process improvement, an overview of the necessary quality tools, and a review of team skills. Classes to be scheduled starting in June/July 2013.
PP2733 QAPI Process Mapping and Simulation Training
This course provides an overview of the value and necessity of mapping processes as well as hands-on instruction to create a flowchart of your current processes. Participants will also learn how to build a simulation using Visio plug-in software called Process Simulator.
