How to purchase supplies
To purchase supplies, bring the following to one of the Central Stores locations on this page:
- A valid account number and work order number (if you don't have a work order number you can get one by calling Construction Services at 512-471-7776)
- Your university ID card
We operate a warehouse of supplies to the university community and essentially serve as a mini home-improvement store for the campus. Whether you are a student, lab manager or certified craftsman, you can purchase almost any supply you need through us. We carry more than 8,000 of the following types of items:
- Paint and paint supplies
- Electrical and lighting supplies
- Plumbing and steam fixtures
- Batteries
- Carpentry materials
- Lumber
- Cleaning products/equipment
- Emergency supplies (salt, sand, plywood, etc.)
- Safety and personal protective equipment
- Tools
- General construction supplies
- Landscape and irrigation materials
- Lubricants, oil and various chemicals
- Abatement equipment (i.e., for asbestos)
- Pest control supplies
- Welding supplies
