How to purchase supplies
To purchase supplies, bring the following to one of the Central Stores locations on this page:
- A valid account number and work order number (if you don't have a work order number you can get one by calling Construction Services at 512-471-7776.
- Your university ID card
We operate an warehouse of industrial supplies for the university community. Whether you are a student, lab manager or certified craftsman, you can purchase almost any supply you need through our Central Stores at the Facilities Complex and Pickle Research Campus.
We carry more than 7,500 of the following types of items:
- Paint and paint supplies
- Electrical and lighting supplies
- Plumbing and steam fixtures
- Batteries
- Carpentry materials
- Lumber
- Cleaning products/equipment
- Emergency supplies (salt, sand, plywood, etc.)
- Safety and personal protective equipment
- Tools
- General construction supplies
- Landscape and irrigation materials
- Lubricants, oil and various chemicals
- Abatement equipment (i.e., for asbestos)
- Pest control supplies
- Welding supplies
