How to request special pickups
To request solid waste pickups for a special event (for example, a football game, baseball game, or South Mall event), complete and submit a Service Request Form (SR10) or on line through WORQS.
We pick up solid waste daily on the university campus, and pick up waste for special events upon request.
Quick facts about solid waste on campus:
- The solid waste on campus is picked up Monday-Friday from 6 a.m.-2 p.m.
- All solid waste pickups are done at designated outdoor trash enclosures throughout campus. For a schedule of trash pickups inside buildings, read about our cleaning services.
- For information about whether an item is considered trash, recycling or surplus property you may call the Solid Waste office at the number below.
