Amended and approved by the Faculty Council at its meeting on January 27, 1997. Approved by the General Faculty by circularization/no-protest procedure on February 14, 1997, and transmitted to President on February 17, 1997. Approval recommended by the President and transmitted to Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs on February 20, 1997. Subsequently approved and incorporated into the UT Austin Handbook of Operating Procedures, —3.14 in November, 1997.
- Recommendations for Guidelines for Undergraduate Students Pursuing Baccalaureate Degrees in Two Majors

Approved by the Faculty Council at its meeting on March 23, 1998, and transmitted to President on March 31, 1998. Approval received on March 8, 1999 from the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost. A memorandum was sent to the Academic Deans which sets out the new policies and procedures that will implement the recommendations for students pursuing two baccalaureate degrees.
