LEAH J. GREGG
Leah J. Gregg, retired associate professor
of physical training for women (later part of kinesiology and health
education), was born on May 25, 1896, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
She received a bachelor's degree from Colorado College in 1919 and a
master's degree from Columbia University in 1938.
Professor Gregg taught at the University
of Illinois and Barnard College, Columbia University. She joined the
faculty of The University of Texas at Austin in 1927, where she taught

physical education for the National Association for Physical Education
