| IN MEMORIAM
CHARLES HARRY LEINBACH JR.
Charles Harry Leinbach Jr., retired associate
professor of health, physical education, and recreation, died
on October 26, 1988. He was 79.
Professor Leinbach was born on January 13,
1909, in Mineral Wells, Texas. He received a bachelor s degree
from The University of Texas at Austin in 1935 and a master s
degree in 1953. He received a second bachelor's degree, in pharmacy,
in 1964.
Professor Leinbach joined the faculty of UT
Austin in 1935 and taught for 38 years. He retired in 1973.
