D 3938-3939 Report of the Committee to Nominate Faculty Council Officers 2004-2005.1 Posted on the Faculty Council Web site on May 5, 2005. At its meeting on May 10, 2004, the Faculty Council elected the following officers to serve on the Faculty Council Executive Committee for 2005-2006: Linda L. Golden, chair elect, professor, marketing administration; Faculty Advisory Committee on Budgets: Edward W. (Ted) Odell, professor, mathematics; Educational Policy Committee: Archie L. Holmes, associate professor, electrical and computer engineering; Faculty Welfare Committee: Martha F. Hilley, professor, music. Also serving on the 2005-2006 executive committee are Janet M. Dukerich (management), incoming chair of the Graduate Assembly; and continuing members Alba A. Ortiz (special education), who will chair the Council in 2005-2006, Linda Reichl (physics), who is this year's chair, and Sue Alexander Greninger (human ecology), Faculty Council secretary.

D 3941-3942 Nominations for Intercollegiate Athletics Councils and for the University Co-op Board of Directors.Posted on the Faculty Council Web site on May 5, 2005. Approved by the Faculty Council at its meeting on May 9, and transmitted to the president on May 10, 2005.The president appointed Professor Robert A. Duke to serve on the Men's Intercollegiate Athletics Council and Professor Mary A. Steinhardt to serve on the Women's Intercollegiate Athletics Council. Both are four-year appointments beginning September 1, 2005, expiring on August 31, 2009. The president appointed Professor Marvin L. Hackert to the University Co-op Board of Directors (2005-2009) to fill the position that will open when the term of Professor Vijay Mahajan expires.
