General Faculty Rules Committee
The Rules Committee met in September, and Philip Varghese was elected chair by
acclamation. During the past academic year no changes were proposed in the rules
and procedures of the General Faculty or Faculty Council so no business was referred
to the committee. Hence, the committee had no need to meet again during the academic
year and did not do so. There were no volunteers to chair the committee next
year, and so Philip Varghese agreed to serve as committee chair for the next
year, too. He was re-elected as chair on a no-protest basis.
