FACULTY COUNCIL RESOLUTION CONCERNING
THE HONOR CODE
On behalf of the Faculty Council Executive Committee,
Linda Golden (professor, marketing administration and
Faculty Council chair) submitted the following resolution
in response to the resolution from the Senate of College
Councils on encouraging the placement of the Honor Code
on course syllabi (D 5357-5359). The Council will vote
on the newly proposed resolution at its meeting on May
7, 2007.

FACULTY COUNCIL RESOLUTION CONCERNING
THE HONOR CODE1
The Faculty Council recommends that all instructors, lecturers, and professors enhance student awareness of the University Honor Code at the start of each semester through written information in their syllabi, oral discussion in class, or both.
