MEMORIAL RESOLUTIONS PENDING COMPLETION BY COMMITTEE.

On January 18, 2005, a committee was appointed to prepare a memorial resolution for Mary Frances Flournoy, professor, curriculum and instruction: Lawrence Abraham (chair).

On May 24, 2005, a committee was appointed to prepare a memorial resolution for Charles W. Scherr, professor emeritus, physics: James C. Browne (chair) and Lothar W. Frommhold.

On January 23, 2006, a committee was appointed to prepare a memorial resolution for Francisco Arumi Noe, professor, architecture: Daniel E. Leary (chair), Kent S. Butler, and Richard P. Swallow.

On April 25, 2006, a committee was appointed to prepare a memorial resolution for Josephine Peters Wortham, assistant professor, curriculum and instruction: Elaine Danielson (chair), Julie Jensen, and Jim Guszak.

On June 28, 2006, a committee was appointed to prepare a memorial resolution for Yuval Ne’eman, professor emeritus, economics: Austin M. Gleeson (chair), Thomas A. Griffy, and George Sudershan.

On June 28, 2006, a committee was appointed to prepare a memorial resolution for Milo W. Weaver, associate professor emeritus, mathematics: Efraim Armendariz (chair), John R. Durbin, and William T. Guy.

On July 21, 2006, a committee was appointed to prepare a memorial resolution for Frederick Matsen, professor emeritus, chemistry and biochemistry: Austin Gleeson (chair) and Robert E. Wyatt.

On July 31, 2006, a committee was appointed to prepare a memorial resolution for Richard Schaedel, professor emeritus, anthropology: Maria Wade (chair), Claud Bramblett, and Henry Selby.

On October 20, 2006, a committee was appointed to prepare a memorial resolution for James N. Douglas, professor emeritus, astronomy: Derek Wills (chair), Beverly Wills, and Frank Bash.

On November 10, 2006, a committee was appointed to prepare a memorial resolution for Edward Cundiff, professor emeritus, marketing and advertising: Isabella Cunningham (chair), William Cunningham, Linda Gerber, Eliz P. Cox, and Gary Wilcox.

On February 1, 2007, a committee was appointed to prepare a memorial resolution for Robert Solomon, professor, philosophy: David Sosa (chair), Nicholas Asher, and James Pennebaker.

On March 12, 2007, a committee was appointed to prepare a memorial resolution for Daeshik Kim, associate professor, kinesiology and health education: Kenneth W. (Pete) Tyson (chair), Charles Craven, San Yoon, and Waneen Spirduso.

On April 16, 2007, a committee was appointed to prepare a memorial resolution for Ruth Denney, professor emeritus, theatre and dance: Rod Caspers (chair), Coleman A. Jennings, and Oscar G. Brockett.

On June 13, 2007, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for Gordon Bennett, associate professor, government: Gary P. Freeman (chair), David F. Prindle, and Yvonne Change.

On July 19, 2007, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for Norm Hackerman, president emeritus and professor emeritus, chemistry and biochemistry: Michael Starbird (chair), Peter T. Flawn, and Allen J. Bard.

On August 1, 2007, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for Burke Haycock Judd, professor, integrative biology: Hugh S. Forrest (chair), H. Eldon Sutton, and Austen F. Riggs.

On August 1, 2007, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for Margaret Anne Eppright, professor emeritus, human ecology: Margaret Briley (chair), Jeanne Freeland-Graves, and Roseann Loop.

On August 15, 2007, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for Winfred Philip Lehmann, professor emeritus, Germanic studies and linguistics: Esther Raizen (chair), Robert D. King, and Hans Boas.

On September 4, 2007, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for Richard L. Dodge, professor, architecture: Michael Benedikt (chair), Kevin Alter, and Elizabeth Danze.

On September 4, 2007, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for Martin S. Kermacy, professor emeritus, architecture: David Heymann (chair), Anthony Alofsin, and Walter Eugene George.

On October 25, 2007, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for John Michael White, professor, chemistry and biochemistry: John G. Ekerdt (chair), Peter Rossky, and Alan Campion.

On November 30, 2007, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for S. Gibbs Milliken, professor, art and art history: Don Herron (chair), Lee Chesney, and Lawrence McFarland.

On December 12, 2007, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for Amos Salvador, professor emeritus, geological sciences: William Fisher (chair), Mark Cloos, and William Muehlberger.

On December 19, 2007, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for Ardis Rewerts, associate professor, human ecology: Ann DuPont (chair), Jane Craig, and Nancy Prideaux.

On January 7, 2008, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for Elspeth Rostow, professor emeritus, public affairs: Francis J. Gavin (chair), Max Sherman, and Bobby Inman.

On January 16, 2008, President Powers appointed a new committee to prepare a memorial resolution for Kurth Sprague, associate professor emeritus, American studies: Bill Stott (chair), Jeffrey L. Meikle, and Mark C. Smith. Elspeth Rostow, who died December 9, 2007, had chaired the previous committee.
