MEMORIAL RESOLUTIONS PENDING COMPLETION BY COMMITTEE.

On June 28, 2006, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for Yuval Ne’eman, professor emeritus, economics: Austin M. Gleeson (chair), Thomas A. Griffy, and George Sudershan.

On July 21, 2006, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for Frederick Matsen, professor emeritus, chemistry and biochemistry: Austin Gleeson (chair) and Robert E. Wyatt.

On July 31, 2006, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for Richard Schaedel, professor emeritus, anthropology: Maria Wade (chair), Claud Bramblett, and Henry Selby.

On February 1, 2007, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for Robert Solomon, professor, philosophy: David Sosa (chair), Nicholas Asher, and James Pennebaker.

On February 13, 2008, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for Carl Henry Oppenheimer, professor emeritus, marine sciences: Richard K. Tinnin (chair), G. Joan Holt, and Kathleen Quade.

On February 13, 2008, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for Donald E. Wohlschlag, professor emeritus, marine sciences: Richard K. Tinnin (chair), G. Joan Holt, and Kathleen Quade.

On May 7, 2008, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for John A. Wheeler, professor emeritus, physics: Steven Weinberg (chair), Austin Gleeson, and J. Craig Wheeler.

On May 16, 2008, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for Clark Hubbs, professor emeritus, integrative biology: Dean Hendrickson (chair), Michael J. Ryan, and David M. Hillis.

On June 19, 2008, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for Carl Leiden, professor emeritus, government and Middle Eastern studies: David Edwards (chair), Lawrence Graham, and Robert Hardgrave.

On July 15, 2008, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for Carlota S. Smith, professor, linguistics: Richard Meier (chair), Nora C. England, and Gretchen Ritter.

On July 21, 2008, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for John Watson Foster Dulles, professor, American studies: Jonathan C. Brown (chair), William P. Glade, and Shirley Thompson.

On July 21, 2008, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for E. Ernest Goldstein, professor, law: Sanford Levinson (chair), Alan Rau, and Jay Westbrook.

On October 30, 2008, President Powers appointed the following committee to prepare a memorial resolution for John J. Bertin, professor, aerospace engineering: Ronald O. Stearman (chair), Joseph F. Malina, and Byron D. Tapley.
