REPORT OF THE CHAIR ELECT.
Chair Elect Dean Neikirk (electrical and computer engineering) encouraged members to attend the joint meeting of the Texas A&M Senate and the UT Faculty Council, which is scheduled for Monday, March 1 in College Station. He summarized the meeting schedule, transportation arrangements, speakers, and session topics, which include discussions about budgetary issues, shared faculty governance, and relationships between athletics and academic programs.
