MINUTES OF THE REGULAR FACULTY COUNCIL MEETING OF May 10, 2010
V.	REPORT OF THE CHAIR ELECT. Chair Elect Dean Neikirk announced the election results for 2010-11 Faculty Council officers and offered them his congratulations. Professor Alan Friedman (English) will serve as chair elect and Professors Edmund (Ted) Gordon (anthropology), Hillary Hart (civil, architectural, and environmental engineering), and Susan S. Heinzelman (English) will serve as FCEC members. Chair Elect Neikirk then acknowledged the services of Chair Staiger during the past year by telling the Council members, “It’s been a real pleasure for all of us to serve with Janet this year.” He thanked her for her outstanding service as chair and presented her with three tokens of appreciation and gratitude from the FCEC members. Chair Staiger thanked everyone and said she thought the year had been wonderful and looked forward to serving as past chair next year.
