LEGISLATION UNDER REVIEW BY THE FACULTY COUNCIL.

D 7825-7844

Proposed revisions of the Handbook of Operating Procedures, Sections 3.18 and 4.03 from the Faculty Grievance Committee. Posted on the Faculty Council web site on February 9, 2010, and classified as general legislation, which will be voted on by the Council at its meeting on February 15, 2010.

  • Teaching Assistant and Assistant Instructor Grievance Procedures (D 7836-7844).
D 7845-7846 Proposal to Changes to the Functions of the Committee on Committees and the Faculty Rules and Governance Committee. Posted on the Faculty Council web site on February 9, 2010, and classified as general legislation, which will be voted on by the Council at its meeting on February 15, 2010.

D 7847-7849 Resolution to Raise the Minimum Student Academic Employee Salaries to a Standard Consistent with a Living Wage for Austin, Texas. Posted on the Faculty Council web site on February 9, 2010, and classified as general legislation, which will be voted on by the Council at its meeting on February 15, 2010.

D 7859-7861 Additional Update to the Core Curriculum Course Lists for the Undergraduate Catalog, 2010-2012. Posted on the Faculty Council web site on February 10, 2010, and classified as general legislation, which will be voted on by the Council at its meeting on February 15, 2010.

D 7862-7864 Change of the Minimum Grade Requirement in the Bridging Disciplines Certificate Programs as Specified in the School of Undergraduate Studies Chapter in the Undergraduate Catalog, 2010-2012. Posted on the Faculty Council web site on February 10, 2010, and classified as legislation of general interest to more than one college or school. If no objection is filed with the Office of the General Faculty by February 22, 2010, the legislation will be held to have been approved by the Faculty Council. If an objection is filed within the prescribed period, the legislation will be presented to the Faculty Council at its next meeting.

D 7865-7868 Proposed Changes to the Science Requirement for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing in the School of Nursing Chapter of the Undergraduate Catalog, 2010-2012. Posted on the Faculty Council web site on February 10, 2010, and classified as legislation of general interest to more than one college or school. If no objection is filed with the Office of the General Faculty by February 22, 2010, the legislation will be held to have been approved by the Faculty Council. If an objection is filed within the prescribed period, the legislation will be presented to the Faculty Council at its next meeting.

D 7869-7871 Changes to the Dietetics Option in the Bachelor of Science in Nutrition in the College of Natural Sciences Chapter of the Undergraduate Catalog, 2010-2012. Posted on the Faculty Council web site on February 10, 2010, and classified as legislation of exclusive interest to more than one college or school. If no objection is filed with the Office of the General Faculty by February 16, 2010, the legislation will be held to have been approved by the Faculty Council. If an objection is filed within the prescribed period, the legislation will be presented to the Faculty Council at its next meeting.
