ITEMS COMPLETED SINCE THE LAST REPORT.

D 7339-7341 Proposal to Change the Requirements for Designation as a College Scholar or a Distinguished College Scholar. Posted on the Faculty Council web site on October 10, 2009. The secretary classified this proposal as general legislation. It was approved the Faculty Council at its meeting on October 26, 2009, and transmitted to the president on October 27, 2009. In a letter dated November 4, 2009, President Powers asked Provost Leslie for written recommendations regarding the legislation. Provost Leslie recommended approval in a letter dated December 18, 2009. Approved by the president and transmitted to the executive vice chancellor for academic affairs on January 11, 2010. Final approval received from the executive vice chancellor for academic affairs on February 8, 2010.

D 7785 Resolution on the Brackenridge Tract. Posted on the Faculty Council web site on January 20, 2010, and classified as general legislation. Approved by the Faculty Council at its meeting on January 25, 2010. Transmitted to the president for his information on January 26, 2010. In a letter dated February 2, 2010, President Powers acknowledged receipt of the resolution. No further action is required.

D 7786-7787 Resolution Affirming Ethical Research Standards. Posted on the Faculty Council web site on January 20, 2010, and classified as general legislation. Approved by the Faculty Council at its meeting on January 25, 2010. Transmitted to the president for his information on January 26, 2010. In a letter dated February 2, 2010, President Powers acknowledged receipt of the resolution. No further action is required.
