Proposal to Change the Requirements for Designation as a College Scholar or a Distinguished College Scholar. Posted on the Faculty Council web site on October 10, 2009. The secretary classified this proposal as general legislation. It was approved the Faculty Council at its meeting on October 26, 2009, and transmitted to the president on October 27, 2009. In a letter dated November 4, 2009, President Powers asked Provost Leslie for written recommendations regarding the legislation. Provost Leslie recommended approval in a letter dated December 18, 2009. Approved by the president and transmitted to the executive vice chancellor for academic affairs on January 11, 2010. Final approval received from the executive vice chancellor for academic affairs on February 8, 2010.
