ITEMS COMPLETED SINCE THE LAST REPORT.

D 5189-5190 Natural Science Requirement of the Core Curriculum for all Undergraduate Students at UT Austin. Posted on the Faculty Council Web site on December 11, 2006. Presented to the Faculty Council at its meeting on December 11. Approved by the Faculty Council at its meeting on January 22, 2007. Approved by the General Faculty on a no-protest basis on February 16, 2007. Transmitted to the president for approval as General Faculty legislation on February 19, 2007. On February 23, 2007, the president referred the legislation to the provost for review and recommendations. Approved by the provost and transmitted to the president on March 7, 2007. Approved by the president and transmitted to the executive vice chancellor for academic affairs ad interim on March 20, 2007. On March 22, 2007, the executive vice chancellor for academic affairs sent a letter to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board asking for approval and referenced a letter dated March 15, 2007, which indicated that final approval would be granted upon approval of D 6802-6803. Final approval of D 6802-6803 was received from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board on April 3, 2009.

Proposed Mid-Catalog Change to the Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development in the College of Education Chapter of the Undergraduate Catalog, 2008-2010. Posted on the Faculty Council web site on January 12, 2009. It was approved by the Faculty Council on a no-protest basis and transmitted to the provost on behalf of the president on January 27, 2009. Approved by the provost on behalf of the president and transmitted to the executive vice chancellor for academic affairs on February 18, 2009.
Final approval received from the executive vice chancellor for academic affairs on September 24, 2009.

Proposed Changes to the Lower Division Requirements in the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Fine Arts Studies in the College of Fine Arts Chapter of the Undergraduate Catalog, 2010-2012. Posted on the Faculty Council web site on September 1, 2009. Approved by the Faculty Council on a no-protest basis on September 8, 2009. On September 9, 2009, the legislation was transmitted to the provost on behalf of the president. Approved by the provost on behalf of the president and transmitted to the executive vice chancellor for academic affairs on September 21, 2009. Final approval received from the executive vice chancellor for academic affairs on October 5, 2009.

Proposed Changes to the Admission Requirements for the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design in the General Information Bulletin, 2010-2011 and the Undergraduate Catalog, 2010-2012. Posted on the Faculty Council web site on September 1, 2009. Approved by the Faculty Council on a no-protest basis on September 8, 2009. On September 9, 2009, the legislation was transmitted to the provost on behalf of the president. Approved by the provost on behalf of the president and transmitted to the executive vice chancellor for academic affairs on September 21, 2009. Final approval received from the executive vice chancellor for academic affairs on October 5, 2009.
