D 4735-4736 Deletion of the Intercollege Major in the College of Liberal Arts Chapter of the Undergraduate Catalog, 2006-2008. Posted on the Faculty Council web site on May 1, 2006, and approved by the Faculty Council on a no-protest basis on May 8, 2006. Transmitted to the provost on May 9, 2006. Approved by the provost on behalf of the president and transmitted to the executive vice chancellor for academic affairs on May 31, 2006. Approval given by the interim executive vice chancellor for academic affairs on June 10, 2006. Approved by Dr. Pedro Reyes, associate vice chancellor for academic planning and assessment, on March 15, 2007, and transmitted to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. A follow-up letter to UT System was submitted by the provost 's office on February 14, 2008. Final approval received from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board on October 26, 2009.

D 5183 Faculty Welfare Committee Recommendations Concerning University Family Friendly Policies. Posted on the Faculty Council web site on December 6, 2006. Presented to the Faculty Council at its meeting on December 11, 2006. Approved by the Faculty Council at its meeting on January 22, 2007. Transmitted to the president on January 23, 2007. On March 8, 2007, the president referred the legislation to the provost for review and recommendations. On July 2, 2007, Provost Leslie sent a letter to the President Powers recommending approval. In a letter to the executive vice chancellor for academic affairs dated December 14, 2007, President Powers requested approval of the proposal.On April 22, 2008, the executive vice chancellor for academic affairs granted final approval of the recommendations. The Handbook of Operating Procedures has been updated accordingly.

D 5807-5809 Changes to the Enrollment Hours and Honors Designation in the Law School Catalog, 2008-2010. Posted on the Faculty Council web site on November 12, 2007. Approved by the Faculty Council on a no-protest basis on November 20, 2007. Transmitted to the provost on behalf of the president on November 21, 2007. Approved by the provost on behalf of the president and transmitted to the executive vice chancellor for academic affairs on December 7, 2007. Final approval received from the executive vice chancellor for academic affairs on January 4, 2008.

D 6464-6465 Proposal from the Educational Policy Committee Regarding Minimum Score Requirements Earned from Credit by Exam Tests.Posted on the Faculty Council web site on October 20, 2008. Approved by the Council at its meeting on October 27, 2008. Transmitted to the provost on October 28, 2008. In a letter to President Powers dated November 19, 2008, Provost Leslie recommended approval of this item. In a letter dated December 1, 2008, to the executive vice chancellor for academic affairs, President Powers endorsed the proposal and recommended approval. Approved by the executive vice chancellor for academic affairs on December 17, 2008.

D 7333-7335 Additional Updates to the Core Curriculum Course Lists for the Undergraduate Catalog, 2010-2012. Posted on the Faculty Council web site on October 8, 2009. This motion, in addition to D 6976-6981, will define the core curriculum course lists for the Undergraduate Catalog, 2010-2012. The secretary classified this proposal as general legislation. It was approved the Faculty Council at its meeting on October 26, 2009, and transmitted to the provost on behalf of the president on October 27, 2009. Approved by the provost on behalf of the president on November 4, 2009, and transmitted to the executive vice chancellor for academic affairs. Final approval received from the executive vice chancellor for academic affairs and notice of approval transmitted to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board on November 10, 2009.

D 7371 Request to Change the Name of the Department of Computer Sciences in the Undergraduate Catalog, 2010-2012. Posted on the Faculty Council web site on October 12, 2009, and classified as legislation of exclusive interest to one college or school. Approved by the Faculty Council on a no-protest basis on October 16, 2009. Transmitted to the provost on behalf of the president on October 19, 2009. Approved by the provost on behalf of the president and transmitted to the executive vice chancellor for academic affairs on October 27, 2009. Final approval received from the executive vice chancellor for academic affairs and notice of approval transmitted to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board on November 2, 2009.
