LEGISLATION UNDER REVIEW BY THE FACULTY COUNCIL—None.

D 9964 Resolution from the Faculty Council Executive Committee Regarding Conferral of Degrees. Posted on the Faculty Council website on October 1, 2012. To be considered by the Faculty Council at its meeting on October 15, 2012.

D 9976-9981 Proposed Name Change for the Parking and Traffic Policies Committee, a General Faculty Standing Committee in the Handbook of Operating Procedures 2-1050-PM. Posted on the Faculty Council website on October 1, 2012.  The secretary has classified this proposal as legislation of general legislation. It is being put to the Faculty Council on a no-protest basis. A voting member of the Faculty Council who wishes to protest the proposal must file an objection with reason with the Office of the General Faculty by October 11, 2012. If no objection is filed by the deadline, the Faculty Council will consider the legislation to have been approved. If an objection is filed within the prescribed period, the legislation will be presented to the Faculty Council at its October 15, 2012, meeting. Final approval resides with the president with formal notification to UT System.

D 9982-9986 Proposed Change in the Admissions and Registration Committee Student Membership, a General Faculty Standing Committee in the Handbook of Operating Procedures 2-1060-PM.  Posted on the Faculty Council website on October 10, 2012. The secretary has classified the proposal as legislation of general interest, which was put forward to the Faculty Council on a no-protest basis. A voting member of the Faculty Council who wishes to protest the proposal must file an objection with reason with the Office of the General Faculty by October 22, 2012. If no objection is filed by the deadline, the Faculty Council will consider the legislation to have been approved. If an objection is filed within the prescribed period, the legislation will be presented to the Faculty Council at its November 19, 2012, meeting. Final approval resides with the president with formal notification to UT System.
