LEGISLATION UNDER REVIEW BY THE FACULTY COUNCIL.

D 11415-11420 Proposed Changes to the Pre-Health Professions Certificate in the College of Natural Sciences Chapter of the Undergraduate Catalog, 2014-2016.Posted on the Faculty Council website on March 6, 2014, and classified as legislation of general interest to more than one college or school. The Committee on Undergraduate Degree Program Review recommended approval of the changes on February 26, 2014, and forwarded it to the Office of the General Faculty. If no objection is filed with the Office of the General Faculty by March 20, 2014, the legislation will be held to have been approved by the Faculty Council. Final approval resides with UT System.

D 11445-11449 Report from the University Academic Calendar Committee to Extend the Thanksgiving Break. Posted on the Faculty Council website on March 11, 2014. The Council will discuss the report at its meeting on March 17, 2014.

D 11450-11460 Report from the Educational Policy Committee on Required and Proposed Revisions to the Basic Form Course Evaluation. Posted on the Faculty Council website on March xx, 2014. The Council will discuss the report at its meeting on March 17, 2014.

D 11488-11491 Proposed Addition of an Integrated Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Master of Science in Engineering in the Cockrell School of Engineering Chapter of the Undergraduate Catalog, 2014-2016. Posted on the Faculty Council website on March 14, 2014, and classified as legislation of general interest to more than one college or school. The Committee on Undergraduate Degree Program Review recommended approval of the change on February 5, 2014, and forwarded it to the Office of the General Faculty. If no objection is filed with the Office of the General Faculty by March 28, 2014, the legislation will be held to have been approved by the Faculty Council. If an objection is filed within the prescribed period, the legislation will be presented to the Faculty Council at its next meeting. The objection, with reasons, must be signed by a member of the Faculty Council. Final approval resides with the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
