Change UTS Login Name

How do I change my login name on the UTS system?
The easiest way to change your username is to visit the ITS Help Desk at the Flawn Academic Center (FAC), where staff can make the change immediately.

You can also fill out this Web form to send e-mail to the Help Desk requesting this change.

Give at least three choices for your new username in case your first choices are already in use by someone else. We will try to give you the new login name you want. If we can't, we will get back in touch with you.

Your choices for a new username should satisfy the following rules:

  1. The username must be at least 3 characters long, but no more than 8 characters long.

  2. The first character of the new username must be a lowercase letter of the alphabet (a b c ... z).

  3. The username should contain only lowercase letters and digits (0 1 ... 9). Punctuation characters and spaces are not allowed.

The new username will be part of the address that other users will use to send you e-mail, so please don't use obscene words as part of your new username.

If any of the choices you send us satisfy these rules and are not being used by someone else, we will change your username as soon as possible and send you e-mail telling you what name was picked and how the name change will be effected.

In fact, send all UTS-related and non-Web publishing questions to them. TeamWeb does not have the staff to handle such requests.
