Can I get statistics on the number of accesses to my Web pages?
That depends on whether you are a personal or departmental publisher. Also, this answer refers only to publishers on ITS systems. Departmental servers have their own rules.
- Personal Publishers - No
- No statistics are provided to personal publishers. A personal publisher is anyone who publishes from a public_html directory in their login directory. ITS, while supporting personal publishing, does not have the resources to offer this service.
- Departmental Publishers - Yes
- Departmental publishers can get weekly statistics reports on all their files and directories. A departmental publisher is any department, faculty, or student organization that publishes from ~www on UTS. If you want such a report, please see Web Analytics (requires UT EID) for information.
