The Lab
The Transmedia Lab offers an up-to-date environment for class instruction as well as production facilities for the completion of assigned Transmedia projects.
(15) Apple desktop (Intel Mac Pro and Intel 27" iMac) workstations configured with:
- Sony DVCAM player/recording deck and external video monitor with real-time display from timeline
- Apple Final Cut Studio 3
- Adobe Creative Suite CS5 Production Premium
- Apple iLife
- Autodesk Maya Unlimited 2013
- Adobe Design Premium CS5 is available on select workstations
- Apple Logic Pro is available on two workstations
- Cycling '74 MAX/MSP/Jitter is available on two workstations
Additional workstation hardware includes:
- (6) Wacom Intous drawing tablets
- (3) Epson high-resolution flatbed scanners
- (2) 88-key midi controllers
- (2) analog audio monitoring and processing stations
- Kona LHe uncompressed high-definition capture and playback card
- animation station for stop-motion projects
The Lab is also equipped with a variety of presentation hardware.
The Studio
The Transmedia Studio offers a custom-designed work environment for video production and live performance. The Studio is the primary meeting room for regularly scheduled Performance Art classes and is available exclusively to students currently enrolled in Transmedia courses.

The Studio also includes professional lighting and presentation equipment, as well as a custom-built cyclorama painted with chroma green for use recording live action to be later composited with other visual material.
