Scott was selected for Austin Museum of Art’s “20 to Watch” exhibition in 2008 as well as exhibiting in venues such as the Grace Museum, Abilene,Texas, Blue Star Art Center, San Antonio, Texas, Diverse Works, Houston, Texas, Meramac Gallery, St. Louis, Missouri, Red Arrow Contemporary, Dallas, Texas , Box Factory, St. Joseph, Michigan, DeVos Art Museum, Marquette, Michigan, Visual Art Center, Austin, Texas, Mass Gallery, Austin, Texas, and the Creative Research Lab, Austin, Texas.

Scott was a resident artist at OxBow in Saugatuck, Michigan, 2009. He was a Lecturer at Temple College, Temple, Texas from 2010-2012 before joining the faculty at the University of Texas at Austin in 2012. Scott continues to maintain a professional art practice in his Austin studio as well as exhibiting regularly throughout the country. Scott is a co-founder and active member of MASS Gallery in Austin, Texas.
