The purpose of the Master’s Degree Program in Art Education is to provide students with the opportunity, environment, and resources to explore issues in art education, conduct research on a significant aspect of art education, and enhance their knowledge of art and art education.

Master of Arts (MA) in Art Education
Students completing the two-year, thirty-six (36) credit hour Master of Arts in Art Education do so by pursuing one of three degree plans: Option A (Schools Focus), Option B (Museum Focus), or Option C (Community Focus). Our distinguished faculty and excellent facilities support many unique and innovative course offerings that present each student with a wide range of study options.
