Studio Art Course Sequence

The Department of Art and Art History believes that students should receive a good foundation in art and art history at the outset of their college career. Both the BA and BFA in Studio Art require six core art and art history courses as prerequisites for further sequenced study (beginning, intermediate, advanced) in our art and art history curriculum. In the third and fourth year of study students enroll in intermediate and advanced levels of studio art curriculum as they fulfill degree requirements and choose courses from among all the studio art areas in which they meet course prerequisites.
